Craig of Song Machine Music. Charlie was very influential in helping him hone his craft he spent
time working with him till Jami got to a place where he was ready for a publishing deal. Jami
began writing every day determined to give every bit of himself to his music. He has believed that
honesty and integrity would be the key to success as a songwriter.

Jody Williams arranged a writer’s appointment for Jami with one of his hit songwriters Mark
Narmore. Mark and Jami pinned the song “Paid For It” which is the song Rick Hall heard and
offered him a publishing deal on the spot. Rick claimed it was one of the best-written songs he
had ever heard and was taken by Jami’s performance. Buddy Jewel on Lyric Street Records
recently recorded this song. “Paid For It” is Jami’s first cut and is giving him the momentum in
Nashville he has worked hard to receive.

Muscle Music a division of FAME and began working under Rick’s guidance writing songs that to
date are on hold by various artist. The American Legion and The Alliance Defense Fund have
picked up a song he wrote while working with Charlie Craig called “What About Arlington”, for a
national campaign they embarked on this spring.
